A unique design for a Scottish customer.  The brief was to create a pattern which meshed family crest’s with Celtic art and the Scottish lion.  The blue was introduced off the Scottish flag and the pattern was transferred to the surfboard using a hand cut stencil.

Meat Ball

The first of a series of fish patterns.  Fish gather into a ball when threatened or attacked by predators.  Safety in numbers is the game and the pattern created by the fish helps to confuse the predators.

Dolphins often gather fish into tight balls by circling them and pushing the ball to the surface.  Individual dolphine’s will then swim in and pick off fish while the others continue to circle. Creating a meat ball.
